Federation of Ogun State Students in Osun Fecilitates With Muslims At Eid-El-Fitri

The Federation of Ogun State Students in Osun has extended warm wishes to Muslims across the region as they celebrate Eid-El-Fitri. 


While speaking with the news men, the chairman of the association, Ibitokun Samuel Emphasized on coming together as a community and celebrate the spirit of unity and togetherness that Ramadan has instilled in us. 

He said, "It's been an incredible journey of self-reflection, prayer, and acts of kindness. As we gather with our loved ones to break our fasts and share delicious meals, let's also remember those who are less fortunate and lend a helping hand. This is a time to spread love and compassion to everyone around us."

 "May the memories we've made during this blessed month continue to inspire us and guide us towards a future filled with success and happiness. Enjoy the festivities, embrace the joy, and cherish the moments spent with family and friends."

"As we bid farewell to the holy month of Ramadan, we wish all our Muslim brother and sisters a fantastic and joy-filled Eid al-Fitr!"

Why We Suspended Business Activities Of POS Operators At SUB - OAU SU Welfare Officer

The Students' Union of Obafemi Awolowo University has suspended the business activities of the Point Of Sales (POS) operators at the Union Building. This was disclosed by the newly elected Welfare Director of the Students Union, Busari Samuel Timileyin during an interview with City Bearers News on Friday.  He revealed that the suspension specifically targets POS vendors due to the complaint gotten from the students about exorbitant charges. He also told City Bearer News that he had met with the POS operators on Friday and the meeting resulted in new agreed-upon charges: #50 for #1,000, #100 for #1,500 to #4,000, and #150 for #5,000.   According to him, "the suspension is for only POS vendors and not all commercial activities. 500 Students Urged To Live By Islamic Principles At MSSN Mushin Zone's April IVC

The Muslim Students Society of Nigeria (MSSN) Mushin Zone recently concluded its April Islamic Vacation Course (IVC), bringing together 500 students from various area councils under the jurisdiction of Mushin Zone in Lagos State for a spiritually enriching experience.  The 115th April IVC, themed "The Sufficient Antidote," aimed to educate and inspire Muslim youths to live by Islamic principles.
