500 Students Urged To Live By Islamic Principles At MSSN Mushin Zone's April IVC

The Muslim Students Society of Nigeria (MSSN) Mushin Zone recently concluded its April Islamic Vacation Course (IVC), bringing together 500 students from various area councils under the jurisdiction of Mushin Zone in Lagos State for a spiritually enriching experience. 

The 115th April IVC, themed "The Sufficient Antidote," aimed to educate and inspire Muslim youths to live by Islamic principles.

Through engaging lectures, Quran memorization, and Seerah sessions, the students were equipped with the knowledge and skills necessary to navigate the challenges of modern life while remaining true to their Islamic faith.

The IVC provided a platform for the students to deepen their understanding of Islamic values and their application in daily life. 

Renowned Islamic scholars delivered soul-stirring lectures, emphasizing the importance of living a righteous life and upholding Islamic principles.

By attending the IVC, the students were urged to become positive influencers in their communities, promoting unity, compassion, and moral excellence. 

In a show of solidarity with oppressed Palestinians, the delegates held a rally on the campsite, displaying placards to protest against the genocide in Gaza.

  Sheikh Sulaiman Ahmad (Abu Khadijah) delivering lecture at the just concluded 115th April IVC 

 Speaking at the camp, Sheikh Sulaiman Ahmad (Abu Khadijah), admonished the youths to emphasize the importance of having a sound creed and living a righteous life. 

He noted that the sound creed brought by Islam is the only tool that can reform society. 

He further stated that Islam is a unique religion that unifies humanity and enables individuals to recognize their Creator, unlike other religions that promote tribalism, idolatry, and other negative norms despite claiming piousness.

The camping program ended on Monday, April 21, 2024, with delegates preparing to journey back to their various area councils.
