Tragedy As Wife Kills Husband switch Pestle

A housewife identified as Biba Mohammed has been paraded by the Gombe State Police Command over the murder of her husband.

 The incident occurred in Barunde quarters of the metropolis.

The state Public Relations Officer ASP Mahid Abubakar, while parading the suspect on Friday, stated that the police received a distress call from a resident of the area reporting a suspected homicide case committed in his neighborhood.

 According to Abubakar, Mohammed Maliki was discovered lying helplessly when detectives from the Lowcost Division dispatched to the scene arrived.

He added that, upon interrogation, the housewife confessed to killing her husband. 

The tragic event unfolded in Barunde quarters, highlighting the somber reality of the situation.

Students of Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU), Ile-Ife, have commended the Students’ Union leadership following what has been described as the largest welfare intervention in the institution’s history. The Welfare Officer of the Great Ife Students’ Union, Osunleke Musab, led a large-scale food relief initiative that provided free meals to over 4,000 students and distributed more than 3,000 essential food items across campus.
