Abuja Rocked By Protests As Youths Demand Immediate Release Of VDM

A group of youths stormed the streets of Abuja on Monday to demand the immediate release of social media influencer Martins Otse, popularly known as VeryDarkMan (VDM).

The protesters converged at the junction leading to the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) headquarters in the Jabi area of Abuja, carrying placards and chanting slogans like "He's not a thief, Release VDM".

They also vowed to take their grievance to the Nigerian Human Rights Commission, in the Maitama district of the nation’s capital.
