It's not just the fact that you gave me birth 
Or you let me you womb without a month's rent.
It's more than the fact that you took care of me 
Or trained me to be a Mother-to-be 
It also surpasses the Deen you taught me 
Which turned out to be the most important thing. 

It's just the fact that you did all these 
And still managed to be uniquely unique 

I won't bother to describe your amazing self 
Because words would not be of much help.
But with this short piece, I would have you know 
That my love for you will never cease to grow.

Students of Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU), Ile-Ife, have commended the Students’ Union leadership following what has been described as the largest welfare intervention in the institution’s history. The Welfare Officer of the Great Ife Students’ Union, Osunleke Musab, led a large-scale food relief initiative that provided free meals to over 4,000 students and distributed more than 3,000 essential food items across campus. The intervention, which coincided with the ongoing examination period and the Ramadan fasting season, was designed to ease the financial and physical strain on students.
