Fueling Futures, Fostering Excellence: Musab SU Welfare Officer Supports OAU Students with 4,000 Mass Feeding & 3,000 Staple Food Distribution

Students of Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU), Ile-Ife, have commended the Students’ Union leadership following what has been described as the largest welfare intervention in the institution’s history. The Welfare Officer of the Great Ife Students’ Union, Osunleke Musab, led a large-scale food relief initiative that provided free meals to over 4,000 students and distributed more than 3,000 essential food items across campus. The intervention, which coincided with the ongoing examination period and the Ramadan fasting season, was designed to ease the financial and physical strain on students. Beneficiaries received cooked meals for immediate consumption as well as staple food supplies to support them through the exam and fasting period.
